So here is our list of five best Android phones to go for if your budget is under $150 or Rs 10,000.
1. Moto E
Ever since Motorola launched their Moto series of smartphones, they have been in the top in most of the lists and preferences of customers. If you’re considering a smartphone under the range of $150 (9,000INR) the best option is to go for Moto E. 2. Mi Redmi 1S
The Chinese brand Xiaomi has been trying very hard to increase their market share in India ever since they launched their first mobile. Although it is quite a bit hard to crack the Indian market of low end smartphones, Xiaomi has proved they can do it with their low priced devices which come with pretty impressive hardware. The newest in line of this market cracking experiment is the Mi Redmi 1S which costs just Rs 6000. See the spec list at the end of this article to see how incredible device you will get once you buy it.
3. Asus Zenfone 4 A400CG/A450CG
Asus is another company which has been trying to crack the low end market all over the world with their Zenfone series of smartphones. The sole reason to go with their smartphones is how reliable their devices are. The hardware is also pretty impressive and I would say it totally worth it for the money you’ll be spending to buy this phone. This phone costs Rs 6000.
Asus is about to launch one more device to the low end smartphone category which will be a worthy upgrade to the one they already have in this segment. Asus Zenfone 4 A450CG is the upgraded version of their already popular A400CG model. The new model will come with an improved camera and larger display. The phone will cost Rs 7000 according to their announced price tags. So you may want to wait a little bit more if you’re going with this option.
4. LG Optimus L5 II E450
LG does make one of the best android devices. They manufacture one of the best low end smartphone devices as well. LG Optimus L5 II E450 is one amazing device which was priced above Rs 10,000 a little while back, but now it just costs Rs 8,500. The sheer quality of the device should alone make it worthy of buy it.
5. Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 S7582
Samsung has been holding the highest low end smartphone market share ever since they surpassed Nokia in India. The number of different devices they have in this segment is the sole key to their success. To be frank all these smartphones do what they promise to do. But the reason I chose it to be the last one in the top five budget smartphones is because their design doesn’t impress me. They have this old design and almost all their smartphones from this segment look the same which is one thing I hate about them. This phone is no different, but the underlying hardware does make it worth buying. Samsung Galaxy S Duos 2 S7582 costs Rs 7990.
